A shared guide for every cluster

One-time omnicracy.net registration and first steps

You only need to register with omnicracy.net once. You can then use the same account to take part in different collective intelligence projects.

Open omnicracy.net →

1. Create your account

  1. Open omnicracy.net and select Sign in at the top.
  2. If you do not have an account, select Don’t have an account? (or its equivalent in your interface language).
  3. Choose the interface language if you wish. Enter the requested account details, your correct email address, a username and a password.
  4. Check your email address and select Register. You will need access to this address if you later have to recover your account.
Anonymity while ideas are rated. The platform may ask for account information at registration, but other participants do not see who authored an idea while rating it. Do not include your name, workplace or other identifying details in the text of an idea.

Choose a unique password and store it in a password manager or another safe place. Do not share your login details.

2. Get to know the platform

After registering, select Continue. The platform may offer an interactive tutorial. We recommend trying it to learn how to rate ideas and submit your own. If you are short of time, you can select Skip and return to the tutorial later.

You do not need to register again: next time, use your username and password to sign in.

3. Enter a cluster and project

  1. Open the link to the cluster that interests you from its project description.
  2. If prompted, select Subscribe once to join that cluster, view its projects and receive notifications about new ideas. You will not need to join the same cluster again.
  3. Choose a project, read its task and rating rules, then select Continue.
  4. Rate the ideas shown to you in sequence. Once you have rated all existing ideas, you will be able to submit your own. You can also participate by rating only.

When you receive a notification about a new idea, you can return to rate it at a convenient time.

Before you submit an idea or rate one

Submit one clear, rateable proposal at a time. Read existing ideas first to avoid repetition. If you propose the same action, add genuinely new arguments or verifiable information that changes its assessment. Explain your proposal where possible and avoid claims others cannot verify.

Consider your idea before sending it and your rating before confirming it: according to the training guide, published ideas and submitted ratings cannot be changed afterwards. Read the rating scale on the relevant project page.

Interface labels may differ slightly by language or as the platform changes. If you already have an account, start at your project page.
